100 Mile Club for the 2016-2017 school year! Wear your T-Shirts on Tuesdays

The 100 mile club is a physical fitness and life skills program for all students.

It is based on the goal of running 100 miles at school during a single school year. The benefits of the 100mile club are many, including; an increase in student confidence, assisting students in becoming more mentally centered and ready for learning, and improved social skills. Your goal is to run one hundred miles by the end of the school year. You CAN do it! YOU can do it. With a little perseverance and help from the people around you, you can do it. Your friends will cheer for you. Your teachers will encourage you. They all know how hard it is. They’re doing it, too. Little by little, day by day you move forward, one mile at a time.

When you run your 25th mile, you will receive a shirt that you will wear with true pride every Wednesday. It will show you, your family, and your friends that you are on your way to meeting your goal!!

Using the life skills of ambition, intentness, industriousness, honesty, and loyalty, you can (and WILL!) reach your goal of running 100 miles this school year. When you do, the pride you will feel is like nothing you have ever felt in your life, because YOU accepted the challenge, YOU believed in yourself, YOU did it!

When you reach 100 miles, you become a mentor for others as you continue earning miles. At your medal ceremony, your efforts will be celebrated the medal around your neck will show the world that you have the ability to do your best, set a goal, and reach it!

The 100 Mile Club has grown to serve over 15,000 students in 5 states and earned an Outstanding Non-Profit Organization award for 2009.
